Yield: 8 portion sizes
Portion size: ½ cup

Ingredients                                   Quantity

Tomato, cherry, halved                2 pints
Garlic, peeled and slivered          4 each
Onion, chopped                            ½ each
Fresh Ground beef                       1 lb
Salt                                               2 tbsp
Olive oil                                         2 tbsp

This is going to be great:

Grab a large skillet and place it on the stove on medium heat until it is just smoking. Add the olive oil, ground beef and 1 tbsp of the salt. Let the beef brown for 2-3 minutes on one side before flipping it over.
Break the ground beef up so that the pieces are small while it is browning on the other side. Let it cook for another 1-2 minutes before removing the meat.
Into your pan add the onion, garlic, and the rest of the salt. Cover it, turn it to low, and let them cook together until see through (3-4 minutes)
Add the tomato, re-cover your pan and let cook for another 10-12 minutes until the tomatoes have given up their juices. Place everything into a blender and puree
Pour the puree back into your pan and add the ground beef. Bring to a simmer and then shut off the heat to finish cooking the beef.
Cool  and save for later or eat it all with a spoon!
