Bacon Bites

These high-protein, satisfying snacks may be eaten warm or at room temperature.

Uncured, no-sugar bacon
Natural cheddar, Swiss, or other legal hard cheese

  1. Fry the bacon strips until they're cooked but still a bit flexible. Set aside to cool.
  2. Cut the cheese into 1-inch squares. Wrap each cheese square with a piece of bacon, cutting the strips into halves or thirds to fit the cheese. Secure with a toothpick.
